A 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck near the East Hills neighborhood of San Jose on Wednesday morning, according to the US Geological Survey.
US Geological Survey said the quake struck at 10:35 am, centered 3.8 miles northeast of East Foothills, 7.9 km northeast of Alum Rock, 8 miles east of Milpitas, and 8.9 miles northeast of San Jose.
